Alio Platform
Alio’s technology uses remote patient monitoring through a SmartPatch that measures key health metrics such as skin temperature, oxygen saturation, pulse rate variability, blood pressure, potassium, and hemoglobin levels. This enables patients to actively manage their own care while giving physicians real-time, actionable data to support informed medical decisions.
The project included two applications: an online portal for medical professionals and patients to remotely track health data, and a native Android app designed for military physicians to monitor aircrews in the field.
ProNerve
I designed the UI/UX for ProNerve’s (now SpecialtyCare) intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) application, which enables clinicians to monitor a patient’s central nervous system—including the brain, spinal cord, and nerves—during surgeries where these systems are at risk. The design challenge was to create a UI that clearly surfaced critical changes and alerted medical staff to potential issues at a glance, ensuring rapid awareness and response in high-stakes surgical environments.
Medical Memory
I designed a native Android app and an online portal during the company’s incubation phase to test key hypotheses and validate market fit. Medical Memory allows clinicians to record patient visits, giving patients secure access to those recordings through a protected portal. This helps reduce repetitive follow-ups, improves recall of medical discussions, and enables patients to share visit information securely with loved ones.
