VIGIL

I’ll start with a brief overview of my background,
then we'll look at the past decade’s work,
and finally focus on one design challenge in detail.
In college, I interned at a printing press creating layouts on illustration boards on a light table and then I’d clean the old Heidelberg offset press.

But with the emergence of digital design and the internet I ended up founding and then selling a web design agency.

From there my work was primarily agency and web development focused.
My clients included the Cities of Denver, Chicago and Washington DC. Chef America, Daisy Guns, the History Channel, and The University of Colorado Health Sciences.

Along the way, I’ve gained experience and training in management, product management, marketing, SEO, agile, analytics, systems thinking, service design, design thinking, research and an emerging experience of designing with and for AI.

To challenge myself further, I moved into corporate in-house design, where I’ve worked on both B2C sales products and enterprise-level B2B SaaS platforms. In these roles, I’ve taken solutions from concept through to market across web, desktop, and mobile.
